The hotel is located on a quiet street, but a quick 5 minute walk from a supermarket if needed. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was good; it was your typical Arabic option made up of Hummus, foul, cheeses, manaqeesh, cold cuts etc. The staff where super sweet and accommodating. Overall would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to save up money on accommodation, and enjoy spending that saved cash elsewhere in Aqaba.

Aqaba is just another urban city. A partying, high on night-life kind of place.
There are several food options and is generally easy on the pocket.
The Aqaba castle is okay, the museum is good, and is interesting only if you have a curiosity towards T.E. Lawrence and the story of the family. Which I think you should. You can easily spend an hour in that museum.
The public beach is an interesting place to visit to see the city's people, and not the beach as such.
I would say a day and a night and a checkout the next day should more than suffice.

I loved my hotel and the walk at Ayla!
I loved my hotel and the walk at Ayla! The food at Ali’s Central Restaurant was excellent too.
I visited the bazar / souq, and I don’t recommend that as it was so busy and nothing really there except cheap Chinese products
Leaving Aqaba and dealing with customs was a nightmare!

Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea,...
Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea, beaches, weather, shops, hotels, restaurants, museums etc... People are very hospitable and friendly. Great landscape, palms, mountains, city tours and boat tours available all the time, this is apart from all the other water activities you can enjoy. You will also find a variety of shops with different items and reasonable prices. I strongly recommend to visit Aqaba at least once. Yet, if you have visited it once, you will visit again and again.
We were just there and are already planning for our next trip soon.
Definitely, we will visit again....

Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea.
Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea. It is the perfect location to go swimming, visit Petra and Wadi Rum or even visit the neighbouring countries by car or boat. The sea water is warm and the coral reefs are stunning. There are many restaurants and the city is very lively, especially in the evening. It is perfectly safe to walk around, everybody is very welcoming and friendly and it´s a great place for a relaxing vacation but where you can add several exciting day trips. I loved Aqaba and it has become one of my favourite places in the world.

Great.
Great. People of Aqaba are helpful, straight & have a high level of ethics.
Aqaba has a very nice beach & a lot of marine sports.
To eat you have a lot of nice places & restaurants there.
Recommend all to visit Aaba.
Everything is superb!
Grand opening just a few months back, so it’s a brand new hotel, very modern design; outside and inside.
Comfortable mattresses. You can have good, home-like, night sleep or afternoon nap, with great sound isolation from the surroundings.
You can have a nice coffee in the morning at the balcony, then you step to the breakfast in its designated restaurant La Firma, where you can find hospitality and a descent variety of local dishes which are made with love!
Being a local Jordanian, I love this hotel 😍
The weekend hotel is in a perfect location in the center of Aqaba. You can find all the shops just a few minutes walking. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The owner of the hotel and all the people in the reception are so friendly and helpful. They can help you and explain you everything and also help you organise tours in Jordan. I fully recommend your stay in the weekend hotel. I come many times in Jordan and i always come here because i am so satisfied with the quality of the services.
It was an amazing experience despite of 48°C heat, staying by the beautiful pool area surrounded by exotic vegetation, we felt comfortable and relaxed. This is especially convinient for families with babies as there are 2 pools for the little ones of any age. The hotel rooms are quaint yet well ACed and breakfast was delicious. The oriental architecture of the hotel, long beach and the magnificent Tala Bay never fail to impress. I ❤ Marina Plaza@ Tala Bay🤗🤗
The room was comfortable, and I loved that it had heat and AC both working. Even some 5* hotels big-name in Jordan only have heat and turn it on too high so it’s too hot. Therefore, we actually found this place more comfortable than that. I also thought it was wonderful that they have rooms with multiple beds for families for the price. All toiletries are provided. The restaurant was convenient as we got in late and didn’t have to leave for dinner.
Good value for money for a 5 star hotel. Rooms were pretty good, but the rooftop and pools were the highlight for me. You have great views of the city and the Red Sea and food & drink are served there. Breakfast was also of a high quality. Short walk to the beach and around the corner (10 min walk) from the JETT bus station if you intend on seeing other parts of Jordan. Also appreciated the warm cookies on arrival!
The Property is not too far from the Jordanian border and is easy to reach. It's a proper divers place and if you don't mind a hippie place this is for you. It's not luxurious but very basic - the rooms were not clean, I moved the bed and there was dust all around, the door was broken, toilet was dirty. The beach opposite the hotel is walking distance but is very dirty and have lots of campers around.
Breakfast was a standard Jordan hotel breakfast but they did change up the hot dishes each day and they were pretty good! We loved the large room with high ceilings and great view over Aqaba and the bay. The bed and sheets were good. It felt like a boutique hotel in these respects. Great on site parking and it was easy to drive to the waterfront area for dinner and walking along the beach.
Everything! We stayed before at dead see area, in 5 Star Hotel we thought this will be the best Hotel in our One week stay in Jordan. But apparently, these 5 stars hotels in Jordan are tricky, old and out dated and at the end of our vacation I can certainly confirm that aquavista was our best stay during our whole trip, simply perfect value for money and location is wonderful.
The hotel was nice enough, comfortable and clean room, nice pools and beach. When you could find a staff member the majority were friendly enough. The breakfast was nice with outside seating available. Ice water dispensers on the beach was a nice idea. This was the best of three 5 star hotels we tried in a week in Aqaba (Movenpick Tala Bay and Grand Tala Bay being the others).
Yafko Hotel Aqaba Hotel located in the city of Aqaba, Jordan. It has a central location, within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and attractions. The hotel has a total of 24 rooms, including standard rooms and suites, all of which are air-conditioned and equipped with amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a minibar, and free Wi-Fi.
I loved this hotel. Everything was perfect and the view from our balcony to die for. Previously we were staying in another hotels and we really regret we didn’t get to Mina before. It gives you 5 star hotel experience for really good money. We loved every minute of our stay. Breakfast was not that good but it’s not a problem at all.
Very nice staff, perfect view on the sea from the bedroom, extremely nice coral reef right on the beach.
Dinner and breakfast were really good. Best hotel we stayed in Jordan by far. They have their own diving center with nice staff, where you can also rent qualitative snorkelling equipment.
We made a same day booking and had a wonderful experience. The staff generously upgraded us to a corner suite with a spectacular view free of cost. Everyone we met who worked at the hotel was very warm, friendly and helpful. Without a doubt we would stay again here if we are back in Aqaba.
Super hotel. Nice staff and especially the wonderful owner who always helped us and was very helpful. Beautiful clean rooms. There is a dining room on the 7th floor, where you can have a hookah and watch the panoramas of Jordan. I warmly recommend❤️
Nice hotel with professional staff. We got a free room upgrade, which was much appreciated. New and clean rooms in a quiet area. Good location. Free parking on the street nearby. Good breakfast, Jordan style. Vfm especially at the price we got it.
Really new hotel with perfect facilities, spacious rooms.
The hotel really excelled in amenities compared to the other 4 star hotels in Jordan we stayed in.
The breakfast was pretty good as well.
Overall great value for money.
Good place to stay for one night if you don’t have any other option (hotels are expensive). Staff is very friendly. It’s very close to tala bay resort so you can spend your day over there and come back for a night.
The pools are big and you have different options to swim.
I liked most the location as it is connected with a big place called tala bay with many shop options.
