Hotel with tavern and free parking! Quiet location with rural views. It’s an older property on the outskirts of town but a good inexpensive option for budget travellers.

Stayed in a room with a shared pool situated in the garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were all inclusive and the food exceeded our expectations. We loved having our breakfast looking out over the sea. The sandy beach was gorgeous with very warm water and beautiful views of the sunset. Olympia is a 30 min drive away and we spent a fascinating morning visiting the site and museum.
Set within a 2-minute walk of Archaeological Museum of Ancient Olympia in Olympia, Olympia Palace offers a terrace and a bar.

The location is ideal for visiting the archaeological sites. And I like the charm of the hotel, which was probably built in the seventies. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Olympia.
Also, the staff were all very kind and friendly.
Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia.

Great breakfast.
The staf went out of their way to help us.

We stayed here for 1 night while visiting the archeological site and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is reasonably priced and is a short walk into the town centre which has lots of restaurants. It also only takes 15 minites to walk to the archeological site. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
In the centre of Ancient Olympia, just 700 metres from the archaeological site and museum, Hotel Inomaos offers free private parking and free WiFi.

It was central to the town, good parking, access to nearby restaurants, and staff were friendly and helpful even though I knew no Greek. The room was fine for me, though a little run down, nothing too bad and I had a balcony.

We have visited 3 times over 15 years and the accommodation and cafe, recommended by Hotel, were both excellent. We should have hired virtual reality glasses for the ancient Olympic in advance. We couldn't find them at the site.

Olympia is a large site, while very significant, it’s also a bit confusing to understand and is in some ways, underwhelming compared to other Greek sites. I wish we got the VR glasses that are rented to hep understand the site better as we walked through.

I didn’t realise just how important Olympia was, the first Olympic Games happened here, the ancient state of Greece was inaugurated here, some of the greatest sculpture ever made reside here. All set amongst the most beautiful landscape.

Obviously, the main reason to visit Olympia is fror the ancient ruins of the Stadium and surrounding artifacts. It is a full day to see everything. We didn't engage the audio guide, as it was a bit complicated with a pre-set-up and download. But I recommend going into the museum to see the model of the area as it was in use to more fully enjoy and identify the ruins. Walking under the arched tunnel into the stadium made the hair on my arms stand up - such an energy.

Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Considering its a small town it had all you could need.
The ancient archeological site is a must see for anyone interested in history and the museum is great also and a must see as well.
The town is cosy with everything walking distance and at night its something else with restaurants and bars and shops all lit up and vibrant plus wide tree lined streets that make it a pleasure to walk through.
I can definitely recommend it and maybe a stop over on the way to the Ionian islands.
Ohhh forgot to say that one of the nicest restaurants is Taverna Orestis where i had one of the nicest meals iv had in my 9 weeks in Greece i can highly recommend it.

One night stay is enough for visiting the Archeological Site and the Museums. The small the town has only two major streets, one with shady restaurants and the other with shops. You can fint not only the Olimpia museums but a small museum about Archimedes which is really worth to visit.
It is quite a long time to get to Olimpia from the direction of Corinth, but you can choose the slower route across the hills which hides lovely villages.
If you are visiting Ancient Olympia this is the perfect place to stay. There is dedicated parking out front and it is a short walk to the archaeological site. Damiano is a great host and gave us tips for visiting the area. He is also a wonderful bartender in the welcoming common area. We had a lovely time chatting with him about his life story which is quite interesting. Breakfast had a good variety of items and he gave us a great recommendation for the nearby Taverna Orestis. That may have been the best meal of our trip!
The hotel seems designed for large tour groups, but we felt very welcome as a couple. They accommodated our request for a top floor room that was lovely and roomy, the pool inviting and a great way to end the afternoon tour of ancient Olympia. It was nice to be only 10 minutes from the town and feel so delightfully remote. The bed was perfect. We didn’t get to the breakfast til near closing, but they treated us as if we owned the hotel. The breakfast was a huge buffet topped by the best extra strong cappuccino around.
A lovely hotel. Room was immaculate, comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast was excellent and filling. Proprietor's stories of carrying the Olympic torch on several occasions during the preliminaries to past Olympics were very interesting. Hotel was walking distance to the ancient Olympia archeological site and museum, and to excellent taverna restaurants.
A good choice for visiting ancient Olympia and nearby places, such as the Lousios Gorge. Much quieter and more peaceful than the hotels in the town of Olympia. Beautiful views from the rooms and the dining area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good traditional Greek food. Nice selection of Greek wines. Convenient parking near the property.
Great place to visit Olympia ! very modern room and bathroom, air conditionning and other commodities perfect. Very nice people to welcome us, and prepare a very good breakfast. Free parking spot available and near to the touristic sites (easy to go walking from there).
I recommend if you want to enjoy a nice stay in Olympia !
The hotel is lovely. There owner met us at the door, and, took us to our rooms. He gave us a map and directions to the Olympia sites (which is within walking distance from the hotel). They also have an informational channel on the TV all about Olympia. A great extra touch. Definitely Recommend!
Good location, The restaurants and thing to see were nearby. Breakfast was very good in delicious, escpecially the view - terrace on the 4th floor. The reception - helpfull. The pool is small but especially for the children excellent and refreshing. We get morning coffee in the bar at 7 a.m.
This hotel has a really good restaurant with a great view. The hotel is a good value too. This hotel is not in the heart of Olympus so you will need to drive or taxi to the ancient site of Olympia. They had a room with enough beds to accommodate me and three children which was great.
Nice place and very attentive helpful welcome person. Value for money is good. Spacious and facilities were more than expected. Short walk into town. Nearby market and shops convenient. Very nice town. Nice touch to leave a little number of goodies, crackers and secrets and such.
Excellent value for money. Lovely welcome. Walking distance to the site. Easy free parking in the streets nearby. Kitchen facilities a real bonus. Beds a bit hard on the back, but the rest is such good value for money that it seems mean to mention it.
The property was a short walk from the Ancient Olympia archaeological site. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The continental breakfast was good and the lady working it was very attentive. We had a very nice stay at a very reasonable price.
Hotel Inomaos was conveniently located right in Olympia Town, within walking distance of everything. It is a clean, friendly and safe environment. Great for my 2 night solo stay.
Accurate description, very well located and very clean. Nice and respectful host, very responsive. For a very small amount of money, we had a good breakfast at the hotel.
