The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see.
Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
Triton Boutique Hotel was conveniently located in Kos town and across from the sea. We liked the most, the friendly and affable staff, nothing was a problem. Thank you to Katy, Maria and Marita they really were so helpful and always happy and easy to converse with.
The room was kept immaculate by housekeeping, and breakfast had a good selection of typical Greek fare and with usual eggs, fruit and cereal on offer. It had a lovely breezy feel to the building and openness which we loved. Nice sea views also from our balcony room.
I don’t know why so many people left bad reviews for this place… Yes, not all the stuff giving you back your fake smile when you coming in, which is actually amazing in my opinion, but they provided with all necessary information and made job done. Hotel is not new, of course, that’s why you pay this price! They do need to repair some small things but the room was clean and smell nice, linen and towels with no stains and breakfast was one of the best I had in hotels 👍🏻
Our stay at Theros was like a dream. The architecture and interior design of the hotel was amazing. Our room was elegantly decorated, perfectly clean and the most comfortable. The food served was wonderful, delicious and healthy. And even better than all, the people: Everyone we met was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to be back again for a longer stay.
The Service level with almost hit excellence level and worth a 5 stars hotel. Meanwhile you are in all inclusive hotel with thousands of customers, the staff at all level are disposed and bring you a rarely expected service level.
Bedrooms are great with excellent beds comfort.
The hotel bedrooms are excellents and even if meal times are crowded, the food and verity is very good.
Incredible staff. It feels like a family run hotel. The rooms are clean and I had a fantastically sunny balcony with a view over the pool. I would absolutely stay again if I returned to Kos and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a pool based, sunny holiday. Internet is fantastic, which was important to me, as I needed to work. Food overall is good and hot. 20m walk to Kos town.
After a thorough search, I picked this hotel because it was on the water and still in town. The location is fabulous! The property is lovely. The staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast selection is awesome and you can sit inside or outside on the water. It’s at the end of a boardwalk one way and a quick block to the old town the other way.
Our room was clean and quite spacious with a little terrace . The hotel pool is beautiful and so is the part of the beach that is near the hotel. We liked the fact that the hotel was somewhat away Kos town and the touristy hustle and bustle there. A very nice hotel to chill out for a few days.
The food was nice too, and the cocktail bar exceptional.
Staff were amazing, location is perfect and not many places right in the centre have swimming pools. Also air con was perfect and unlike my friends hotel down the road didnt have to pay extra for it.
Breakfast was a typical continental and as much as you can eat.
Pool was great and food/drinks are so good and reasonably priced.
Probably the beat hotel on the island, very high maintenance and the staff will take care of your every need. From breakfast to dinner you wont have to leave the hotel.
If you are looking for a special experience here in kos, then this is the place for you
The location of the hotel is perfect. Its reachable by walk from the city centre, surrounded with few nice and cozy restaurants and also the beach is just 10 mins by walk. They also provide free breakfast, which is not the best but worth it!
This is a great hotel, very centrally located in Kos town but in a quiet area. Rooms are modern, the shower especially was very good. Balcony looking at the pool in the room. Great breakfast, nice pool area, friendly staff. Would recommend
Lovely spacious room, clean and tidy and lovely pool area. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the pool bar and snacks were reasonably priced. Very relaxing place to stay around twenty minutes from the centre of kos town.
one of the best value hotel during my times in Greece for few months.
good location, cleanliness, service, comfort, shower.. just everything you wish for.
100% would return if I ever come to Kos again.
Out of crowded Kos town. Reception staff were great when not on the phone - answered calls even with guests standing at the counter. They held our bags until evening ferry.
