Charming and relaxing beach destination within easy reach of Hamburg. The weather happened to be nice during my stay, but it looks like it would still be an enjoyable destination if the weather wasn’t so sunny or warm. Local people were friendly and welcoming, and I learned interesting things about the region. There are a variety of places to eat, catering to higher end fine dining as well as more humble restaurants. I had a beautiful meal on the deck at Restaurant Rendezvous, as well as a delicious casual meal from the little takeaway huts along the marina. Cafe Ahoi coffee is a decent coffee option, and the bakery Bäckerei Seßelberg Niendorfwas also very good. Gift shop Snabbelsnuut was great with unique and affordable good quality items locally sourced with friendly helpful service, and Lambert Studio has a great selection of lovely homewares, with friendly and knowledgeable customer service.CeciliaAustralia - 2.0Scored 2.0

We were not let down! Beautifully decorated rooms and interiors. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and very clean rooms. Nice idea to have a vending room. Breakfast was very nice. This hotel was recently opened (spring 2023) so it is in absolutely tip top condition. The very small team made the stay very personal and enjoyable.

The position is perfect: right in the center, near the beach, the shops, the restaurants, the cure park and the forest. Dogs are more than welcome. We enjoyed our visit so much that we ended up staying one night longer.

The apartment rooms were very large and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We would have loved to have better weather to enjoy the patio and garden more. But the best part was the hospitality of the afternoon/evening receptionist. She spoke both Spanish and English and was so friendly, fun and helpful—she made us feel so at home and filled us in on best nearby spots for fresh fish, how to get around the area. She is a true gem!!

Then Finland to Germany, our ferry arrived at night almost 10pm so we have found this place which is self check-in and 10 minutes away from the port. We had a very nice stay here.
